Catching Up

This year seems to be flying by. Today my little man is 7 months old. Can't believe how fast they grow. I don't seem to be doing well on keep the blog up to date, so maybe I will try to do a little better. To catch up on whats been happening at the McVay house. Mary Kathryn is taking gymnastics now and is doing really well, well when she listens (thats a whole other blog in itself.) KK loves swimming and would stay in the pool all the time if we would let her.She will start 1st grade in a few weeks. Seems like yesterday she was my baby.

Walt-man is sitting up, saying "hey" and Nana said he said mama yesterday for the first time, I have not heard it yet though. He loves to bounce, swim, eat (pretty much anything) and loves, loves his big sis. He is so sweet and just a all around pleasant baby. I am so blessed to have 2 wonderful children.

We are going to the beach next week, I can't wait to see how Walt reacts to the beach, if he is anything like his big sis he will love it.

Our Home has been Enlarged by 2 little feet!

I have been meaning to post for a while but the last 3 weeks have been something else. We were blessed with our son, Walter Morgan "Walt" McVay, on December 21st he weighed 9lbs and was 21 1/2 inches long. He is already 10lbs 7 ozs. and 23 inches long. The first thing the doctor said was he is going to be a linebacker! Michael and Pop are sure hoping so. I will post some pics soon. Mary Kathryn is a great big sis, which I knew she would be, she likes to tell us how to take care of him. She is definitely a "Little Momma." Walt is so sweet and so far a great baby. He hasn't had the best first 3 weeks, he was really jaundice and ended up back in the hospital for photo therapy, then this tuesday night we ended up in the ER and they admitted him, he has bronchitis but bless his heart he was put through the ringer to find that out. I am already back at work and this week went surprisingly well (except for the hospital visit.)
We are truly blessed to have made it through 2009, it was a difficult year and I pray this year will be better. It is amazing how much things change in a year. I am so glad to say I feel closer to Michael and love him more than ever. I have two beautiful children who are healthy what a blessing to beable to say that.
I pray that everyone realizes how short our time is here and the spiritual war that is going on. It is definitely a time to guard ourselves with the word. Satan is attacking like never before, he is going after families and in turn is getting in the church. Sorry for the randomness of this post just a lot on my mind. I will try to post a better one later with pics!

Blessed beyond Measure

KK and Santa

It is amazing the older I get how fast time seems to fly by. I usually reflect back each year on things and this year I just feel blessed. I am blessed to have a husband who loves me even though at times I have not deserved his love and he loves our child (soon to be children), he wants and does spend time with us, works hard even at times he probably should have not, thankful and blessed that he is healthly, he is doing well, and he let me knows he cares in his own little ways. I am blessed to have Mary Kathryn, who is my side-kick. She is so beautiful, caring, compassionate, loving, and friendly. She is going to be a great big sis. Even though at times I may get frustrated I am so blessed to have her and that she is healthy. We often take our children for granted and they could be gone in a blink of an eye. I am blessed to be carrying another child who hopefully will be here SOON and completely healthy! God has blessed us with children when doctors thought we would never be able to have any. I am blessed to have parents who have always been there for me and reared me in a God-fearing home. Most of all I am blessed to have a Savior who took on my sins, died for me, and restores me daily.

So many things to be Thankful for

I am so thankful for my loving husband. My sweet, beautiful KK and the son that God has blessed us with that is still growing in me right now. I am thankful for my family, who no matter what has always been there for me, through the good and bad. But most of all I am thankful for a Gracious, forgiving Savior, who without Him I would be nothing.
